Deloitte has already supported the Invictus Games The Hague 2022 and is continuing its commitment for another Games. With this ongoing partnership, the auditing and consulting firm is once again sending a signal of recognition and respect to wounded, Injured and sick service personnel and veterans and emergency personnel of the blue-light organisations. Furthermore, Deloitte is committed to the special cause of this year’s Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, which is to build a Home for Respect to generate wider respect and understanding for the armed forces.

International sports festival under the sign of respect and rehabilitation
The sixth Invictus Games will take place from 9 to 16 September 2023 in Düsseldorf, Germany for the first time. More than 500 wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans from more than 20 nations are expected alongside emergency forces of the blue light organisations within Team Germany. They will compete against each other in ten sports in friendly competitions. What counts is not competition and top performance, but people, their will to live and team spirit. Through sport, the competitors draw strength for their recovery and rehabilitation. Their sporting achievements show their individual progress in rehabilitation and their will to find their way back into life after serious injuries or illnesses.
