Here, we need you mainly to support our small finance and administration team, which handles legal and financial matters, especially in the area of insurance coverage.

As part of our team, you will be deployed according to your strengths and help make the Invictus Games an unforgettable experience for all those who cannot be there live.

You can fit in and integrate into an existing team, have knowledge of web design, have a talent in writing, video creation or photography? Family & Friends are the most important people in the lives of the competitors. They saw the participants in their worst moments and were there for them whenever they were needed. We would like to honour their commitment, and for this we need you! You will work closely with the respective Family & Friends team, and support them as best you can during their stay. Whenever your organisational talent or your communication skills are needed, you will be the first contact person.
You will be assigned to a participating nation whose language you ideally speak, and accompany them during their entire stay.

If you have a high sense of responsibility, enjoy working in an orderly and coordinated fashion, have strong communication skills and assertiveness, then this is your field of work.

At the Games, we welcome national and international guests from all over the world. At the Hospitality Center, they will be hosted, provided with information about the latest news and events, and receive answers to their questions and requests. You are the main point of contact for the guests of the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023. You ensure a smooth process and an unique experience of hospitality.

If you have a friendly and service-oriented manner, communication is your strength, and you work in a problem-solving way, then this is the right place for you. Besides German and English as basic requirements, additional foreign language skills are very much in demand. Experience in the hotel and restaurant industry, or as a tourist guide, is also an advantage.

In the Legacy area, you are responsible for the legacy of the Games, i.e. for what remains. To achieve a lasting legacy, we have planned various events, such as an international conference, art projects, events with children, or the operation of a special military post office. As part of the team, you will collaborate on these projects and support them according to your skills. Working with us, you can expect an eventful time in a great team.

One gear meshes with the other! Well-functioning logistics are required for everything to run smoothly. The Bundeswehr will largely handle the logistics around the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023. In the Medical Services area, we look forward to your support, regardless of whether you have a medical qualification or not.
- With a medical qualification
To ensure the health care provision during the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023, we require support from doctors and medical assistant personnel from the fields of general medicine, psychiatry, emergency medicine, physiotherapy/(sports) massage therapy, and the veterinary service. The tasks involved are similar to those encountered in a civilian (veterinary) doctor’s practice, with a military unit physician, in a physiotherapy practice or in the ambulance service.

If you have the relevant medical qualifications, you are very welcome to join us.

Helping hands are essential in patient care. “A kind word here, willing to listen there.” If you have empathy, we would like to have you on board to support at the reception of our Medical Clinic. Among other things, appointments are made here, questions and recommendations about medical facilities in the city of Düsseldorf are answered, and the lending and issuing of medical supplies is coordinated.

Around the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023, there will be an eight-day festival with a colourful mix of music, art, culture, sports, food and a lot more. In the Nations Home, the Family & Friends will meet with the competitors to share meals or have a chat over a cup of coffee. The smallest guests are also catered for here.

You love children and are bubbling over with creativity? Then you can help to ensure that the meals run smoothly by assisting the parents with childcare. The aim is to create a friendly and pleasant atmosphere, and to provide unforgettable experiences.

You can’t get any closer to the competitors! Both at the beginning and at the end of the Games major events will take place with all the participants. Lead the nations into the stadium and towards the stage, while the stands are filled with spectators and the event is broadcast all over the world.

Do you want to really immerse yourself in the event? Then this is the right place for you! We are looking for responsible volunteers for the Opening and Closing Ceremony in the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA, who we can rely on and who will enjoy being part of the event.

The INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023 will generate a lot of media interest. We want to give the journalists and media representatives a warm welcome, and provide them with professional support throughout the Games. Moreover, the volunteers in the press team will help with the running of our press centre, thus providing a professional working environment for the journalists.

You already have professional experience in the fields of communication, journalism or social media, or you have knowledge in the use of computers, printers and word processing programmes? As well as being resistant to stress, you are also accurate, communicative, and have a good command of written and spoken German and English (and possibly another foreign language)? Then join the Press team and experience an unforgettable time with us!

Support us in the area of side events during the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023. Your work will be characterised by the international exchange with the delegations and their Family & Friends. Our main goal is for everyone to feel comfortable and experience the Games in Düsseldorf as an unforgettable event. The tasks in the area of side events are varied and include, for example, distributing food and drinks at the After Show Party, supporting the showpersons in the Invictus Village, or taking over tasks of the organising team that arise at short notice. No matter how you want to support us, instead of just being there, you will always be right in the middle of things as a friendly and open representative of the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023.

For the side events, we are looking for open-minded, friendly and helpful personalities, who will support us in making the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023 an unforgettable experience for our visitors, even away from the competitions. If you also speak English or another foreign language in addition to German, the Side Events team is the right place for you.

In the Spectator Services area at the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023, you will ensure a friendly and sociable atmosphere, thereby making a significant contribution to the ‘Invictus Spirit’. Spectators, competitors, and Family & Friends will be assisted with any questions they may have. Whether running information points, managing and installing signage, assisting mobility-impaired people, answering questions about seating in the stands or being a competent and friendly face at our car parks: The Spectator Services department is often the first contact visitors have with the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023.

We are looking for open-minded, friendly and helpful personalities to support us. Together, we will ensure an unforgettable Invictus Spirit.

Tasks may include, for example, the setting up and dismantling before, during and after the competitions, providing material and catering, marshalling, and maintaining the material and playing area during the Games.

As a qualification for this area, you should have an affinity for sports, be physically resilient, and ideally have previous experience in the individual sports. You should also have a rudimentary knowledge of English.

The teams and their competitors are the most important persons at the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023. You will work closely with the respective team, accompany them, and provide the best possible support to them during theri stay. Whenever your organisational talent or your communication skills are required, you are their first point of contact.

We are looking for people with a talent for organising and a good service mentality! In the ticketing area, you will support our team in various aspects: Provide support at our ticketing stations on the event site, in the back office, or with matters relating to VIP ticketing. Get a taste of this dynamic area and become part of a major international sporting event.

The focus is always on satisfied visitors, so we are looking for stress-resistant, friendly and very helpful people. If you speak other foreign languages besides German and English, we have a perfect match!

The arrival and departure of the competitors and the back and forth with a lot of luggage in a city that they don’t know requires support. This is where you come in! We need your help to make the stay of our guests as stress-free and smooth as possible right from the start. This includes loading luggage and sports equipment, especially for our impaired guests, and directing them to the right buses. Support the Travel & Transport team and lend a hand!

If you are physically resilient and ideally speak good English, this is the right place for you.

Here, you will be responsible for accompanying high-ranking individual guests and delegations with special protocol support requirements. These will primarily be international individual guests and delegations consisting of government representatives and their escorts. When looking after these guests and delegations, the most important thing, apart from absolute reliability, is to always be friendly and courteous, and to react flexibly and confidently to frequently changing circumstances. You are the link between the organisers of the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023 and the guests. You act as part of a team and in close coordination with the entire protocol team.

You speak fluent English and German and have already gained relevant experience in accompanying and looking after VIPs? You are not shy in dealing with high-ranking guests, and enjoy working in a flexible and innovative team? Then join us! If you have additional competent language skills, please include them in your application.

Due to the special nature of this task, you should have some time in the run-up to the INVICTUS GAMES DÜSSELDORF 2023 to allow for some intensive training. Ideally, this should take place in Düsseldorf.

In Volunteer Management, you plan and coordinate the personnel and the organisational assignment of all volunteers, so that the right volunteer is always planned for the right task. In addition, we need you as a dutiful and reliable shift leader in the different areas of responsibility.

You have experience in the area of volunteering and personnel management, are stress-resistant and communicative, enjoy taking responsibility, and are very reliable? Then you will fit in well in volunteer management.
The job starts a few days before the Opening Ceremony, and ends the day after the Closing Ceremony.
